Safe Escape House

The Safe Escape House is a two-level home with a bedroom upstairs that has a window, which opens to a deck with a ladder to the ground. The first floor focuses on kitchen and household safety. It is a great tool for teaching all ages the importance of working smoke detectors, residential sprinkler systems, sleeping with the bedroom door closed, developing and practicing a home fire escape plan, crawling low in smoke and identifying household hazards.
Set the P.A.C.E for Safety Car

The concept of the Set the P.A.C.E. for Safety Car is life safety education for parents and children. The car is a model for numerous safety behaviors. With colorful magnetic signs and messages written on the car, it is a great educational tool that can be used to attract attention. Messages about flammable liquids usage and storage, helmets, seat belts and air bag safety can be given once an audience has gathered.
If you are interested in using either of these items for your public education events, please contact Harlan Lundstrom at the Spring Lake Park Fire Department(612-786-4436) for an application. <BWControl:EmailLink id="harlan" runat="server" EmailAddress="harlanl@uswest.net" DisplayName="harlanl@uswest.net" />
