MN State Fire Marshal – Public Education and Youth Fire Intervention
The State Fire Marshal Division provides educators with updated information about youth fire intervention and fire prevention education resources. The site includes a kids' corner and information for parents and teachers who currently have so stay home because of CoVid - 19. There is a special section all about youth firesetting.
The week of October 9 is Fire Prevention Week every year, commemorating the Great Chicago Fire. The National Fire Protection Association not only provides a theme and resources for fire prevention week, they have lesson plans, tip sheets and much more for fire prevention education.
Encourage your community to take the home safety challenge and keep themselves, their families and their firefighters safe.

National Fire Sprinkler Association
May 19-25 is the week they have dedicated to promoting home fire sprinklers. The NFPA Fire Sprinkler Initiative and the Home Fire Sprinkler Coalition have created videos, flyers and a new Living with Sprinkler kit to commemorate Home Fire Sprinkler Week.
Currently offers on line classes. On - campus classes are suspended until May 10, 2020. In the mean time you can still glean valuable training with continuing education credits from the National Fire Academy.
